This is contrary to the stereotype but Seattle does indeed have a summer. Our summers are typically the best in the nation. The warm times for us usually start around the Fourth of July. This is when the sun comes to town and stays until Labor Day. Seattle then averages less than an inch of rain for the next two glorious months.
So we like to have some fun in our temporary sun. S&S, from now until the end of summer, will show proof to the rest of the world that “Seattle” and “summer” is not an oxymoron…
