We wouldn’t call ourselves potheads here at S&S. Between all of the asthma and the living in our mothers’ basements that goes on here, smoking weed is not usually on any of our agendas.
That’s what made Seattle Hempfest 2013 so surreal. Anyone in a 2-mile radius of Centennial Park, Myrtle Edwards Park or Olympic Sculpture Park was sure to get an immense contact high. 250,000 folks got high whether they wanted to or not.
I-502 legalized marijuana and the 2013 Hempfest was the organization’s first “legal” festival. Seattle’s annual event is the nation’s largest Free Speech rally.
