Since 1991, Dark Horse Comics has published “Star Wars” comic books and it’s kind of their bread and butter. The indie publisher has added to the official canon of the franchise. They have even given the world numerous characters that have become fan faves (hello, Quinlan Vos).
Now that Disney owns both Marvel and Lucasfilm, the Mouse House will consolidate the two brands just in time for JJ Abrams’ new Star Wars film that comes out Christmas 2015.
