The ratings are in and it’s good news for the good guys – The Duck Dynasty season premiere was down a whopping 33% in the coveted 18-49 year old demographic that advertisers love.
Homophobia and racism aren’t exactly a selling point to the kids these days.
The nation took sides after patriarch Phil Robertson’s hateful remarks to GQ. Conservatives rallied around the Roberston’s by bullying any business that wanted to boycott Duck Dynasty and creating the illusion of a cultural victory.
But everyone else in the country did something even more powerful than the yelling, shouting and boycotting by the right-wing…they didn’t tune in.
Overall viewership was down 28 percent, ending the up trend of the A&E franchise.
So everyone’s over the Roberston klan – what’s the next reality sensation going to be?
