Is the Tea Party a good thing? We can debate that all day. But what we cannot debate is that the Tea Party, like EVERY political organization, has 1st Amendment rights and those rights should be respected.
So it is disheartening to see in the below video that the IRS flagged 100 percent of Tea Party groups. This prevented them from getting tax-exempt status, costing these grassroot groups millions of dollars.
Only seven progressive groups were flagged but were eventually approved.
